Certification Courses

These classes involve a virtual skills assessment with our in-house trainer. Upon success completion of the course, you will receive a 2-year American Red Cross Certification.

Blended Learning

These classes consist of a combination of self-paced online learning and a virtual skills assessment with our in-house trainer. If any materials are needed for the skills test, such as a manikin or mock AED, we will send them to you prior to your test.

These classes provide valuable knowledge to enhance your life-saving skills. Non-certification courses typically do not meet OSHA requirements for workplace certification.

In this class, you'll learn:

  • How to recognize the need for CPR
  • How to perform CPR to current standards
  • How to use an AED
  • How to assist a choking victim

Approx 2-3 hours

In this class, you'll learn:

  • All the information covered in the standard CPR/AED training
  • First Aid basics
  • How to respond in medical emergencies
  • How to prevent illness and injury
  • How to apply direct pressure for bleeding
Blended Learning

Adult CPR/AED/First Aid/BBP

Approx 2-3 hours

In this class, you'll learn:

  • All information covered in standard CPR/AED training
  • First Aid training
  • How to respond when exposed to blood, or blood containing materials
  • How to apply direct pressure for bleeding

Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED

Approx 2-3 hours

In this class, you'll learn:

  • How to recognize the need for CPR in infants & children ages 0-12, and in adults ages 12+
  • How to perform CPR for infants & children ages 0-12, and for adults ages 12+
  • How to use an AED on infants & children ages 0-12, and on adults ages 12+
  • How to assist a child choking victim ages 0-12, and an adults ages 12+

First Aid for Severe Bleeding

Approx 30 min

In this class, you'll learn:

  • How to recognize severe, life-threatening bleeding emergencies and to take action to stop the flow of blood
  • How and when to control bleeding by applying a tourniquet and hemostatic dressing

First Aid for Opioid Overdoses

Approx 45 min

In this class, you will learn:

  • How to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose
  • The appropriate care to provide based on the person's breathing and level of responsiveness
  • How to give naloxone using several different products: a nasal atomizer, Narcan® Nasal Spray and EVZIO®, to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose

Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector

Approx 30 mins

In this class, you will learn:

  • The signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction
  • How to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device
